Our Aim
At Cheeky Cherubs we believe that all children should be treated and respected as
individuals - and that all relationships are built on love, a sense of fun and mutual respect.

reinforce positive behaviour in a sharing environment.

All feeding utensils are sterilized for babies less than 12 months of age. |

A child is eligible for a maximum of 15 hours a week for 38 weeks of the year.
No more than 6 hours can be claimed in any one day. If you want to use more,
we will deduct the number of hours each child is allowed from their monthly bill.
Some pre-schools and nurseries have limited opening hours. If your child already attends a preschool and you are not using the full 15 hours per week
then Cheeky Cherubs can
use the remaining hours at times suitable to you.
We are open 51 weeks of the year so you can have free hours all through the year.
Example:
Your child attends preschool on a Monday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoon 12.30 - 3.30 - the total number of hours used is 9 - you still have 6 hours a week that you could use at Cheeky Cherubs. We feed into all local schools so your child will meet new friends
A lot of parents don't realise that their children can attend two establishments with their nursery education funding and a lot of children are missing out on extra hours of learning through play
For more information, please speak to a member of staff who will be able to answer any questions. |
Welcome Pack |
If you decide to register with Cheeky Cherubs, an appointment will be made for you to go through a welcome pack with your child's appointed key carer. This will give you time to ask any questions you may have, it also allows parents and key carers time to sort out settling
in and to organise your required sessions. |
Extra Activities
At Cheeky Cherubs we also offer a range of extra activities for your child which can be arranged at an additional cost. Please ask a member of staff for more details.
All activites run during term times only
These include:
|
Tot Stars - singing lessons with Michelle Basketfield. Tot
Stars is
a fun activity where the children sing, dance and
learn to play musical instruments. It also gives the children opportunities to take part in stage performances and work towards events, such as the annual nativity play. This takes place every Tuesday
Tennis - for children aged 2+ This takes place every Monday morning with a qualified tennis coach
Jolly Babies - Music and singing with signing for 0 - 2 year olds, every Monday afternoon.
Tumble Tots We work with C.L.O.W.N.S. (Creative Learning Opportunities in Western Somerset) to provide the Tumble Tots activity session on Thursdays.
Forest School - Forset school involves fun outdoor activities with our very own qualified Forest School Leader. This takes place a piece of woodland near Timberscombe which has
been donated to the nursery specifically for this purpose. Activities include den building, mud sliding and messy
outdoor play.

|
 |
In addition to this, we actively encourage parents to take an interest and
be involved during their child's time at nursery and hold many events, outings and parent involvement days
throughout
the year.
